Our team

Practitioners.
Experienced to the core.

A minimum of 25 years of experience for every team member. That is the threshold for joining Exigent.

Our team brings major-incident experience and the judgment that comes from carrying responsibility in the work. We select for how people lead, how they treat others, and how they follow through.

Collective experience

From developing leaders
to supporting major incidents.

Our practitioners teach leadership, human factors and ICS from experience. Our collective background spans incident command, EOC and ECC leadership, municipal emergency management, protective services, field response and exercises.

Our experience includes wildfire, floods, tornadoes, search and rescue, evacuations and complex multi-agency incidents. Community re-entry is a core specialty, from readiness planning and dependency tracking to resident support and the transition into recovery.

We match the people to the assignment: the hazard, the role, your operating context and the support your team needs. We agree on responsibilities and work within your existing authority and relationships.

Our values

The standard is how we work.

01

Competence.

Every team member brings a minimum of 25 years of experience. We match the practitioner’s operational background to the work your team needs.

02

Integrity.

Do the right thing even when no one is watching. Give honest advice, own our decisions, and follow through on our commitments.

03

Kindness.

Meet individuals and teams where they are. Listen first, respect local knowledge, and help people build confidence and capability without diminishing their dignity.
